In addition, he has spent over 3 years as a CFO with two successful VC backed startups. He has worked in technology, agriculture and transportation and run $2.5B+ market cap companies with 700+ employees and operations all over the world. His depth of experience includes conducting 20 years of public company earnings calls and investor conferences, 23 years of leading and participating in board and audit committee meetings, internal controls, oversight of audit and ESG functions as well as hundreds of M&A, and debt and equity transactions. Shared P&L responsibility with founder/CEO for $40M, 112-person start-up, worked closely with the Board through some extremely complex and challenging issues.

Quantenna Communications (Private)

Responsible for all financial, legal and HR functions at this 160-person start-up Wi-Fi network solutions provider; involved in all aspects of building and running company.

2010 - 2012

Link-A-Media Devices (Private)

Responsible for all financial and manufacturing functions of (120-person, $40M revenue) start-up manufacturer of SSD chips. Left upon successful sale to Hynix.

2007 - 2010

Silicon Storage Technology (Public, ticker: SSTI)

Responsible for all financial functions of this 700-person, $400 million revenue international manufacturer of memory and non-memory chips, including investor relations, SEC and internal reporting, internal audit and controls, corporate governance, policies and procedures, cost accounting, budgeting and planning, purchasing and legal. Left upon successful sale to Microchip Technolgy. 

2000 - 2007

ESS Technology (Public, ticker: ESST)

Responsible for all financial and legal functions of this 540-person, $300 million revenue international manufacturer of DVD and image sensor chips; functioned as in-house legal counsel. Left upon successful sale to a private equity group.

1998 - 2000

Gatefield Corporation (Public, ticker: GATE)

Responsible for all G&A and operations in this re-engineered semiconductor manufacturer of non-volatile, reprogrammable FPGAs. Left upon successful sale to Actel Corporation. Actel has since been acquired by Microsemi.
